Under the provisions of the Free Zone Act 1990 and in compliance with the regulatory directive from the Royal Malaysian Customs, all shippers within the Penang International Airport Free Commercial Zone (FCZ) submit their trade declarations to the Customs’ Electronic Clearance System (Sistem Maklumat Kastam, SMK) via the FCZ system.

Custom Clearance Procedures

Some basic information about electronic trade declaration in the FCZ:

1. Electronic Channels for FCZ and Flight Manifest Declarations:

Declarants can opt for any of
the following electronic channels which are linked to the new FCZ system.
The Ezycargo Community System which is currently in
use by majority of the cargo agents in Malaysia engaged in
e-commerce transactions with the airlines.
The ZB declaration module in
the FCZ Portal (www.fczmalaysia.com.my). Registration is required to use this Portal service.
The FCZ Service counter
at the Penang Cargo Centre. Registered declarants are provided with a computerized facility to submit electronic ZB declarations. An admin fee of RM20.00 per declaration shall
be charged in addition to the FCZ processing fee of RM3.00 payable for each ZB declaration to FZA.

Flexibility - Our 2-storey warehouses with built-up size of 4069 to 7083 square feet are suitable for workstations or offices on the 1st level and warehouses on the ground level. Activities such as storage/deferment of goods, trading activities, distribution, transhipment and VALUE-ADDED COMMERCIAL activities such as break-bulking, packing, repackaging, grading, repairs of goods/ transit of cargo can be conducted in the warehouses.

Adjacent warehouse units can be joined/expanded into larger warehousing facilities, depending on the client’s needs. Basic infrastructure (road network, street lighting, utilities like light power supply, water supply) is already in place at this location.

The Warehouses are available for lease on a fixed term year-round or limited time basis.
